Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation1

These Regulations may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Company Law) Regulations 2024.

These Regulations come into force when section 1 (the registrar’s objectives) of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 20232 comes into force.

These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

In these Regulations “LLP” means a limited liability partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000.
