Citation, commencement, transitional provision and extent

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Representation of the People (Postal Vote Handling etc.) (Northern Ireland) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.
(2) Parts 1 to 3 come into force on the 22nd day after the day on which these Regulations are made.
(3) But Parts 2 and 3 do not have effect in relation to any election in respect of which the date of poll specified in the notice of election is on or before 1st May 2024.
(4) Part 4 comes into force on 7th May 2024.
(5) These Regulations extend to Northern Ireland.
