In respect of any part of the strategic road network that is managed under a DBFO contract both National Highways and the highway operations and maintenance contractor shall have the benefit of this Part of this Schedule but for the purposes of any approvals required under this Part of this Schedule the undertaker shall liaise directly with National Highways.
