Coming into force

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 41E, 51(1) and 52(4) of the Child Support Act 19911 (“the 1991 Act”) and sections 6(1) and 55(3) and (4) of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 20082 (“the 2008 Act”).

In accordance with section 52(2)(a) of the 1991 Act3 and section 55(5)(a) of the 2008 Act4, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
