Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Benchmarks) Regulations 2018

26.  The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Benchmarks) Regulations 2018(1) are mended as follows—

(a) in regulation 2(1), in the definition of “the EU Benchmarks Regulation 2016”(2) for “retained EU” substitute “assimilated”;

(b) in regulation 3(3)—

(i) in the heading for “Retained direct EU” substitute “Assimilated direct”;

(ii) in the text of the regulation for “retained direct EU” substitute “assimilated direct”;

(c) in regulation 8(2), (3) and (5)(4) for the words “a retained EU” substitute “an assimilated”.
