Coming into force
The National Assembly for Wales, being designatedM1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972M2 in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Community, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by that section, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, makes the following Regulations:
Title, application and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Marking of Meat, Meat Products, Minced Meat and Meat Preparations) (Wales) (No. 2) Regulations 2001; they extend to Wales and come into force on 20th July 2001.
Amendments2
The date “
23rd September 2001
”
shall be substituted for the date “23rd July 2001” in the following provisions —
a
paragraph 3A(3) of Part VI of Schedule 2 to the Meat Products (Hygiene) Regulations 1994 M3;
b
regulation 7(7) and regulation 8(8) of the Minced Meat and Meat Preparations (Hygiene) Regulations 1995 M4; and
c
paragraph 3 of Part I of Schedule 13 to the Fresh Meat (Hygiene and Inspection) Regulations 1995 M5.
