Citation, commencement and application1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Inspection Fees) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2001 and they come into force on the 1 August 2001.

These Regulations apply to Wales.
Increase in the inspection fee2.
In regulation 3(1) of the Street Works (Inspection Fees) Regulations 19923 there shall be substituted for the figure of “£14.50” there the figure of “£15.50”.
Revocation3.
The Street Works (Inspection Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 19984 are revoked so far as they apply to Wales.

These Regulations provide for an increase from £14.50 to £15.50 in the fee payable by undertakers for inspections of their work by street authorities in Wales under regulation 3(1) of the Street Works (Inspection Fees) Regulations 1992 (S.I. 1992/1688). The Street Works (Inspection Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 (S.I. 1998/978) (which provided for an earlier increase in the fee) are revoked so far as they apply to Wales.
