This Order applies only to Wales and replaces the Sheep and Goats Identification and Movement (Interim Measures) (Wales) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/274 (W.30)) and the Sheep and Goats Identification and Movement (Interim Measures) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2002 (SI 2002/811 (W.91)) which are revoked by the Sheep and Goats Identification and Movement (Revocation) Regulations 2002 (S.I. 2002/1354 (W.131)). It implements the provisions relating to sheep and goats of the Council Directive 92/102/EEC on the identification and registration of animals (OJ No. L355, 5.12.92, p.32) and provides interim disease control-related measures for the period from 15th May 2002 to 30th November 2002.
