Paying allowances
17. Any payment by way of travel allowance, subsistence allowance or financial loss allowance to a member of an appeal panel constituted under paragraph 1 or 2 of Schedule 24 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998(1) shall be paid by the authority which maintains the school or schools in relation to which the panel is constituted.
