The Street Works (Inspection Fees) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2002

The National Assembly for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by sections 75 and 104(1) of the New Roads and Street Works Act 19911 and which are now exercisable by the National Assembly in relation to Wales2, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and application1

These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Inspection Fees) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2002 and come into force on 1st January 2003.

These Regulations apply to Wales.

Increase in the inspection fee2

In regulation 3(1) of the Street Works (Inspection Fees) Regulations 19923 there is to be substituted for the figure of “£15.50” there the figure of “£20”.

These Regulations provide for an increase from £15.50 to £20 in the fee payable by undertakers for inspections of their work by street authorities in Wales under regulation 3(1) of the Street Works (Inspection Fees) Regulations 1992 (S.I.1992/1688).
