18.—(1) Gan roi sylw i faint y cartref gofal, y datganiad o ddiben, a nifer ac anghenion y defnyddwyr gwasanaeth, rhaid i'r person cofrestredig sicrhau y materion canlynol—

(a)bod personau cymwys a chanddynt gymwysterau addas, medrus a phrofiadol yn gweithio yn y cartref gofal bob amser, mewn niferoedd sy'n briodol ar gyfer iechyd a lles y defnyddwyr gwasanaeth;

(b)na fydd cyflogi unrhyw bersonau dros dro yn y cartref gofal yn atal y defnyddwyr gwasanaeth rhag cael unrhyw barhad yn eu gofal sy'n rhesymol i ddiwallu eu hanghenion;

(c)bod y personau a gyflogir gan y person cofrestredig i weithio yn y cartref gofal yn cael—

(i)hyfforddiant sy'n briodol i'r gwaith y maent i'w gyflawni; a

(ii)cymorth addas, gan gynnwys amser i ffwrdd o'r gwaith, er mwyn ennill cymwysterau pellach sy'n briodol i waith o'r fath.

(2) Rhaid i'r person cofrestredig sicrhau bod y personau sy'n gweithio yn y cartref gofal yn cael eu goruchwylio'n briodol.

(3) Os yw'r cartref gofal—

(a)yn darparu gwasanaeth nyrsio i ddefnyddwyr gwasanaeth; a

(b)yn darparu, p'un a ydyw mewn cysylltiad â nyrsio neu beidio, feddyginiaethau neu driniaeth feddygol i ddarparwyr gwasanaeth;

rhaid i'r person cofrestredig sicrhau fod nyrs gofrestredig a chanddi gymwysterau addas yn gweithio yn y cartref gofal bob amser.

(4) Rhaid i'r person cofrestredig wneud trefniadau i roi gwybodaeth briodol am unrhyw God Ymarfer a gyhoeddir o dan adran 62 o'r Ddeddf i'r personau sy'n gweithio yn y cartref gofal.
