Promotion of welfare11

The registered person shall ensure that the children’s home is conducted so as to—

a

promote and make proper provision for the welfare of children accommodated there; and

b

make proper provision for the care, education, supervision and, where appropriate, treatment, of children accommodated there.

The registered person shall make suitable arrangements to ensure that the home is conducted—

a

in a manner which respects the privacy and dignity of children accommodated there;

b

with due regard to the sex, religious persuasion, racial origin, and cultural and linguistic background and any disability of children accommodated there.
