Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn yn gwneud darpariaeth ar gyfer cyfansoddiad ac aelodaeth Canolfan Iechyd Cymru yn barod er mwyn sefydlu'r Ganolfan.
Mae Canolfan Iechyd Cymru i'w sefydlu yn Ebrill 2005 (pan ddaw, at bob diben, adrannau 2 a 3 o Ddeddf Iechyd (Cymru) 2003 i rym) a bydd ganddi swyddogaethau datblygu a chynnal trefniadau ar gyfer sicrhau bod gwybodaeth am faterion sy'n ymwneud â diogelu a gwella iechyd yng Nghymru ar gael i'r cyhoedd yng Nghymru ac ymgymryd ag ymchwil a'i gomisiynu i faterion o'r fath a chyfrannu at ddatblygu hyfforddiant yn y materion hynny.
Mae'r Rheoliadau hyn hefyd yn darparu ar gyfer gweithdrefnau a threfniadau gweinyddol penodol i'r Ganolfan.
