Council Tax Benefit (General) Regulations 1992 E+W

28.—(1) The Council Tax Benefit (General) Regulations 1992(1) are amended as follows.

(2) After paragraph 6(1)(a) of Schedule 3 (sums to be disregarded in the calculation of earnings), insert—

“(aa) a part-time fire-fighter employed by a fire and rescue authority;”.

(3) After paragraph 3(2)(a) of Schedule 3A (sums disregarded from claimant’s earnings), insert—

“(aa) as a part-time fire-fighter employed by a fire and rescue authority;”.

S.I. 1992/1814 modified, in its application to persons to whom regulation 12 of the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit (State Pension Credit) Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/325) applies by the insertion of Schedule 3A by regulation 21 of, and Schedule 2 to, those Regulations. There are other amendments not relevant to this instrument.
