These Regulations amend the Education (Fees and Awards) (Wales) Regulations 2007 (“the 2007 Regulations”).

Regulations 4 and 5 make amendments to regulation 2 of and the Schedule to the 2007 Regulations so as to enable residence in the overseas territories to be treated as qualifying residence in certain cases and to make clear that students who move from the Islands to the United Kingdom for the purposes of undertaking their course will be treated as ordinarily resident in the Islands.

Typographical errors in regulation 2(4)(ch) and 2 (6) (ch) of the Welsh text of the 2007 Regulations are dealt with in regulation 4.
