Disapplication of the National Curriculum for Wales at Key Stage 1
3. The requirements of the National Curriculum for Wales for the first key stage as set out in section 105(1), (2) and, (3) and in the Orders made under section 108(3)(1) of the 2002 Act are not to apply in relation to pupils at maintained schools during the school years 2010 to 2011 and 2011 to 2012.
