The Welsh Ministers are designated1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community.
These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and it appears to the Welsh Ministers that it is expedient for any reference in these Regulations to Council Regulation (EC) 1198/2006 and Commission Regulation (EC) 498/2007 to be construed as references to those instruments as amended from time to time.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon them under section 2(2) of, and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to, the European Communities Act 19723, the Welsh Ministers make the following Regulations.
