Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations replace Schedule 1 to the Products of Animal Origin (Third Country Imports) (Wales) Regulations 2007. The new Schedule incorporates a number of new and amended pieces of Community legislation that have come into force since those Regulations came into force.

The new Schedule provides that the provisions in Schedule 1 are now ambulatory.

A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared for this instrument as no impact on business, charities or voluntary bodies is foreseen.
