EDUCATION, WALES
The Education (Recognised Bodies) (Wales) Order 2007 (“the 2007 Order”) lists all the bodies appearing to the Welsh Ministers to be recognised bodies within section 214 (2) (a) or (b) of the Education Reform Act 1988 (“the 1988 Act”). Such bodies are either:universities, colleges or bodies authorised by Royal Charter or by or under an Act of Parliament to grant degrees; orbodies which are for the time being permitted by any body falling within paragraph (a) to act on its behalf in the granting of degrees.

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by section 216(1) of the Education Reform Act 19881 and now vested in them2, make the following Order:
