Mae Gorchymyn Addysg (Cyrff sy'n Cael eu Cydnabod) (Cymru) 2007 yn yn rhestru'r holl gyrff hynny yr ymddengys i Weinidogion Cymru eu bod yn gyrff cydnabyddedig o fewn adran 214 (2) (a) neu (b) o Ddeddf Diwygio Addysg 1988 (“Deddf 1988”). Mae cyrff o'r fath naill ai:
(a)yn brifysgolion, yn golegau neu'n gyrff a awdurdodwyd drwy Siarter neu drwy Ddeddf Seneddol neu oddi tani i ddyfarnu graddau; neu
(b)yn gyrff eraill a ganiateir am y tro gan unrhyw gorff sy'n cwympo o fewn paragraff (a) i weithredu ar ei ran wrth ddyfarnu graddau.
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn diwygio Gorchymyn 2007 ac yn diweddaru'r rhestr o gyrff a geir yn yr atodlen i'r Gorchymyn hwnnw. Caiff nifer o gyrff eu hepgor o'r Atodlen gan nad oes ganddynt bellach bwerau i ddyfarnu graddau neu am eu bod wedi cyfuno â chyrff eraill. Cafodd nifer o gyrff newydd eu mewnosod yn yr Atodlen gan ei bod yn ymddangos i Weinidogion Cymru fod y cyrff hynny bellach yn cwympo o fewn naill ai (a) neu (b) uchod. Cafodd nifer o fân newidiadau hefyd eu gwneud i'r Atodlen i gymryd ystyriaeth o newidiadau i enwau a wnaed ers pan wnaed Gorchymyn 2007.
