Subject to paragraph (2), no person is to fish for, take or kill scallops in Welsh waters during the period 1 May to 31 October inclusive in each year by any means, including diving.

In respect of the calendar year 2010 the period referred to in paragraph (1) is to commence on 1 June 2010.
