2.—(1) In these Regulations—
“daytime working hours” (“oriau gwaith yn ystod y dydd”) means any time between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on any day except a Saturday, Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which is a bank holiday under the Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971(1) in Wales; and
“the Directive” (“y Gyfarwyddeb”) means Council Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community(2).
(2) Terms used in these Regulations which are also used in the Directive have same meaning as they have in the Directive.
