Amendment of the Natural Mineral Water, Spring Water and Bottled Drinking Water (Wales) Regulations 2007

10.  The Welsh text of the principal Regulations is amended as follows—

(1) In regulation 2(1) in the definition of “dŵ r yfed”, the words ““dŵ r ffynnon”” in sub-paragraph (b) are substituted with the words ““spring water””;

(2) In regulations 2(1), 6(1)(a)(i), 8(2)(ch), 10(2), 11(3)(c) and 16(2), the words “techneg awdurdodedig i ocsidio aer a gyfoethogwyd ag osôn” wherever they appear are substituted with the words “techneg ocsidio awdurdodedig gydag aer a gyfoethogwyd ag osôn”;

(3) In regulation 8(1)(dd), the words ““gall fod yn ddiwretig”” are substituted with the words ““may be diuretic”” and the words ““gall fod yn garthydd”” are substituted with the words ““may be laxative””;

(4) In regulation 8(1)(e), the words ““mae'n ysgogi treuliad”” are substituted with the words ““stimulates digestion””, and the words ““gall hyrwyddo'r swyddogaethau hepato-bustlog”” are substituted with the words ““may facilitate the hepato-biliary functions””;

(5) In regulation 9(1), the first reference to the words ““dŵ r mwynol naturiol”” is substituted with the words ““natural mineral water””;

(6) In regulation 10(1), the words “neu “dŵ r ffynnon”” are substituted with the words ““spring water””;

(7) In regulation 11(1), (2), (3) the words ““dŵ r ffynnon”” are substituted with the words ““spring water””;

(8) In regulation 12 the words ““dŵ r ffynnon”” are substituted with the words ““spring water”” wherever they occur except in the heading of the regulation;

(9) In regulation 14 (a)(ii) and (b)(ii) the words ““dŵ r mwynol”” are substituted with the words ““mineral water””;

(10) In paragraph 5(3) of Schedule 4 the words ““dŵ r ffynnon”” are deleted and replaced with ““spring water””.
