Mae adran 20 o Ddeddf Aer Glân 1993 (“Deddf 1993”) yn gosod gwaharddiad cyffredinol ar ollwng mwg mewn ardaloedd rheoli mwg.
Caiff Gweinidogion Cymru, drwy orchymyn a wneir o dan adran 21 o Ddeddf 1993, esemptio dosbarthau penodedig ar leoedd tân rhag darpariaethau adran 20, os bodlonir hwy y gellir defnyddio'r cyfryw leoedd tân i losgi tanwydd nad yw'n danwydd awdurdodedig a hynny heb gynhyrchu unrhyw fwg neu faint sylweddol o fwg.
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn gymwys o ran Cymru.
Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn dirymu ac yn disodli gyda diwygiadau Orchymyn Ardaloedd Rheoli Mwg (Lleoedd Tân Esempt) (Cymru) 2009 (S.I. 2009/3224) (Cy.278).
Mae erthygl 2 o'r Gorchymyn yn esemptio'r dosbarthau ar leoedd tân a restrir yn y golofn gyntaf o'r Atodlen i'r Gorchymyn rhag darpariaethau adran 20 o Ddeddf 1993, yn ddarostyngedig i'r amodau yn yr ail golofn o'r Atodlen honno.
