Penodi Cadeirydd ac Is-gadeirydd

5.—(1) Rhaid i'r aelodau sy'n bresennol mewn unrhyw gyfarfod o'r Gorfforaeth a gynhelir cyn penodi Cadeirydd neu Is-gadeirydd am y tro cyntaf o dan is-baragraff (2) ddewis un o'u nifer i weithredu fel gadeirydd ar gyfer y cyfarfod hwnnw.

(2) Rhaid i'r Gorfforaeth benodi Cadeirydd ac Is-gadeirydd o blith ei haelodau.

(3) Ni chaniateir penodi'r Pennaeth nac unrhyw aelod staff nac unrhyw aelod myfyrwyr yn Gadeirydd nac yn Is-gadeirydd.

(4) Bydd y Cadeirydd a'r Is-gadeirydd yn dal eu swyddi am ba bynnag gyfnod a bennir gan y Gorfforaeth.

(5) Yn ddarostyngedig i is-baragraff (3), os yw'r Cadeirydd a'r Is-gadeirydd yn absennol o unrhyw gyfarfod o'r Gorfforaeth, rhaid i'r aelodau sy'n bresennol ddewis un o'u plith i weithredu fel cadeirydd ar gyfer y cyfarfod hwnnw.

(6) Caiff y Cadeirydd neu'r Is-gadeirydd ymddiswyddo o'r swydd ar unrhyw adeg drwy roi hysbysiad ysgrifenedig i'r Clerc.

(7) Os bodlonir y Gorfforaeth, ar unrhyw adeg, bod y Cadeirydd yn anabl neu'n anaddas i gyflawni swyddogaethau'r Cadeirydd, caiff y Gorfforaeth, drwy roi hysbysiad ysgrifenedig, symud y Cadeirydd o'i swydd.

(8) Os bodlonir y Gorfforaeth, ar unrhyw adeg, bod y Is-gadeirydd yn anabl neu'n anaddas i gyflawni swyddogaethau'r Is-gadeirydd, caiff y Gorfforaeth, drwy roi hysbysiad ysgrifenedig, symud yr Is-gadeirydd o'i swydd.

(9) Yng nghyfarfod olaf y Gorfforaeth cyn bod tymor swydd y Cadeirydd neu'r Is-gadeirydd yn dod i ben, neu ar ôl i'r Cadeirydd neu'r Is-gadeirydd ymddiswyddo neu gael ei symud o'r swydd, rhaid i'r Gorfforaeth benodi Cadeirydd neu Is-gadeirydd newydd, yn ôl fel y digwydd, o blith ei haelodau.

(10) Mae'r Cadeirydd a'r Is-gadeirydd yn gymwys i gael eu hail benodi pan ddaw tymor eu swyddi i ben, yn ddarostyngedig i unrhyw reolau a wnaed o dan erthygl 20 o'r Erthyglau Llywodraethu ynglŷn â nifer y tymhorau swydd y caiff person wasanaethu drostynt.
