1.—(1) The title of this Order is the Local Government (Performance Indicators) (Wales) Order 2012.
(2) This Order applies only to Welsh improvement authorities which are county and county borough councils (“local authorities”).
(3) This Order comes into force on 1 November 2012 and applies in relation to the financial year beginning on 1 April 2013 and subsequent financial years.
(4) This Order applies in relation to Wales.
2. The performance indicators in each Schedule to this Order are specified for the purpose of section 8(1) of the Local Government Wales Measure 2009(1) in relation to the functions detailed in the respective Schedule.
3. The Local Government (Performance Indicators and Standards) (Wales) Order 2010(1) is revoked but continues to have effect in so far as it applies to Performance Indicators and Standards for the financial year beginning on 1 April 2012.
