Title, application and commencement1.

The title of these Regulations is the Beef and Pig Carcase Classification (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012.

These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.
(3)
These Regulations come into force on 18 April 2012.
Interpretation2.
In these Regulations, “the 2011 Regulations” (“Rheoliadau 2011”) means the Beef and Pig Carcase Classification (Wales) Regulations 20113.
Amendment of regulation 2(1) of the 2011 Regulations3.
In regulation 2(1) of the 2011 Regulations, in the Welsh text, after the definition of “darpariaeth eidion Ewropeaidd” (“European beef provision”), insert—
“ystyr “darpariaeth moch Ewropeaidd” (“European pig provision”) yw darpariaeth a bennir yng ngholofn 2 o Atodlen 2, y disgrifir ei chynnwys yng ngholofn 3 o'r Atodlen honno;”.

These Regulations amend the Beef and Pig Carcase Classification (Wales) Regulations 2011 (S.I. 2011/1826 (W.198)) (“the 2011 Regulations”).
Specifically these Regulations amend section 2(1) in the Welsh text of the 2011 Regulations to insert a definition of “darpariaeth moch Ewropeaidd” (“European pig provision”).
