Lladd ceffylau mewn mangre heintiedig a mangre gyswllt a chael gwared ar garcasau
12.—(1) Mae paragraff (2) yn gymwys mewn perthynas â cheffylau—
(a)mewn mangre dan amheuaeth sy’n fangre gyswllt,
(b)mewn mangre heintiedig.
(2) Caiff Gweinidogion Cymru drefnu i ladd pob ceffyl sydd wedi ei heintio â feirws clefyd Affricanaidd y ceffylau neu sy’n dangos arwyddion clinigol o glefyd Affricanaidd y ceffylau.
(3) Os yw unrhyw geffyl yn cael ei ladd o dan baragraff (2), o ran Gweinidogion Cymru—
(a)rhaid iddynt drefnu i gael gwared ar ei garcas, a
(b)cânt drefnu i gael gwared ar garcas unrhyw geffyl arall sydd wedi marw yn y fangre honno.
(4) Rhaid i Weinidogion Cymru sicrhau bod unrhyw broses o waredu o’r fath yn cael ei chynnal mewn ffordd sy’n osgoi’r risg y gallai feirws clefyd Affricanaidd y ceffylau ymledu.
