Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn dwyn i rym ar 6 Awst 2015 ddarpariaethau Deddf Cymwysterau Cymru 2015 (“y Ddeddf”) a restrir yn erthygl 2 yn unol â’r hyn y darperir ar ei gyfer yn yr erthygl honno.
Mae adran 2(1) o’r Ddeddf yn sefydlu Cymwysterau Cymru fel corff corfforaethol ac mae adran 2(2) yn cyflwyno Atodlen 1. Mae Rhan 1 o Atodlen 1 yn gwneud darpariaeth bellach sy’n ymwneud â sefydlu Cymwysterau Cymru, gan gynnwys ynghylch ei aelodaeth. Mae paragraff 37 o Atodlen 1 yn diwygio Deddf Rhyddid Gwybodaeth 2000 er mwyn ychwanegu Cymwysterau Cymru at y rhestr o gyrff a swyddi cyhoeddus yn Rhan 6 o Atodlen 1 i’r Ddeddf honno.
