5. Ystyr monitro archwiliad yw samplu dŵr wedi’i botelu a’i labelu’n “spring water”, “dŵr ffynnon”, neu’r hyn sy’n cyfateb i hynny mewn unrhyw iaith arall, a dŵr yfed mewn potel, ar gyfer bob paramedr a bennir yn Rhannau 2 a 3 o Atodlen 7 (heblaw paramedrau sy’n cael eu samplu’n barod drwy wiriadau) er mwyn—
(a)darparu’r wybodaeth y mae ei hangen er mwyn penderfynu a yw’r dŵr yn cydymffurfio â’r crynodiadau neu’r gwerthoedd paramedrig perthnasol a bennir yn Rhannau 2 a 3 o Atodlen 7; a
(b)gwneud yn siŵr bod unrhyw sgil-gynhyrchion diheintio yn cael eu cadw cyn ised â phosibl heb beryglu’r diheintio, os defnyddir diheintiad yn achos dŵr yfed wedi’i botelu.
