Title, commencement, application and revocation E+W

1.—(1) The title of these Regulations is the Religious Character of Schools (Designation Procedure) (Wales) Regulations 2016 and they come into force on 1 January 2017.

(2) The Religious Character of Schools (Designation Procedure) Regulations 1998(1) are revoked in relation to Wales.

(3) Regulation 49 of the New Maintained Schools (Wales) Regulations 2005(2) is revoked.
