These regulations do not apply in relation to—

a

the provider of a children’s home in Wales;

b

an application to court for authority to place a child in secure accommodation in Wales.

Regulations 4, 14, 15 and 16 do not apply to a local authority in Wales in respect of a placement in secure accommodation under section 25 of the Act.

Where paragraphs (1) and (2) apply, refer to section 119 of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Children (Secure Accommodation) (Wales) Regulations 2015.
