Coming into force

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 10, 74, 82 and 93 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 19901 and now exercisable by them2, make the following Regulations.

Title, commencement and application1

The title of these Regulations is the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and they come into force on the 1 March 2016.

These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.

Amendment of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Wales) Regulations 20122

The Welsh text of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Wales) Regulations 20123 is amended as follows.

In regulation 3(1) (ceisiadau am ganiatâd adeilad rhestredig neu ganiatâd ardal gadwraeth) insert “gais am” before the words “ganiatâd adeilad rhestredig”.

These Regulations correct an error in the Welsh text of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Wales) Regulations 2012 (S.I. 2012/793 (W. 108)).

A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared for this instrument as it has no impact on the likely costs and benefits of complying with these Regulations.
