5.—(1) The Children’s Homes (Wales) Regulations 2002(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In the English text, in each of the provisions mentioned in paragraph (3) for “the Care Council for Wales” substitute “Social Care Wales”.
(3) The provisions are—
(a)regulation 8(2E) (fitness of manager);
(b)regulation 26(2F) and (2G) (fitness of workers);
(c)Schedule 2, paragraph 5A (information required in respect of persons seeking to carry on, manage or work at a children’s home);
(d)Schedule 4, paragraph 2(h) (other records).
(4) In the Welsh text—
(a)in regulation 8 (fitness of manager)—
(i)re-number paragraph (2E) as paragraph (2D),
(ii)in paragraph (2D) as re-numbered for “Chyngor Gofal Cymru” substitute “Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru”;
(b)in regulation 26(2Dd) and (2E) (fitness of workers) for “Chyngor Gofal Cymru” substitute “Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru”;
(c)in Schedule 2, paragraph 5A (information required in respect of persons seeking to carry on, manage or work at a children’s home) for “Cyngor Gofal Cymru” substitute “Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru”;
(d)in Schedule 4, after paragraph 2(e) (other records) insert—
“(f)a yw wedi’i gofrestru gyda Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru.”
S.I. 2002/327 (W. 40), regulation 8(2E) was substituted by S.I. 2009/2541 (W. 205); paragraphs (2A) to (2G) were inserted into regulation 26, paragraph 5A was inserted into Schedule 2 and paragraph 2(h) was inserted into Schedule 4 by S.I. 2007/311 (W. 28).
