The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 126(2) and (3) of the Public Health (Wales) Act 20171, make the following Order.

Title1

The title of this Order is the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (Commencement) (Amendment) Order 2017.

Amendment of Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (Commencement) Order 20172

Article 3 of the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (Commencement) Order 20172 is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order made by the Welsh Ministers amends the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 (Commencement) Order 2017 (“the original Commencement Order”).

Article 3 of the original Commencement Order brings into force on 1 January 2018 provisions of the Public Health (Wales) Act 2017 relating to the intimate piercing of children (Part 5 and section 94 for the purposes of Part 5).

This Order revokes article 3 of the original Commencement Order, which was included in error. Those provisions will be brought into force at a later date by a separate commencement order.
