Coming into force
This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred on the National Assembly for Wales by paragraphs 9(1) and 10(1) of Schedule 8 to the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the Act”)1 and now vested in the Welsh Ministers2.
Carmarthenshire County Council has applied to the Welsh Ministers for an Order to be made under these powers with respect to the county of Carmarthenshire.
The Welsh Ministers have consulted the chief officer of Dyfed-Powys Police in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 10(4) of Schedule 8 to the Act.
Title and commencement1
The title of this Order is The Civil Enforcement of Bus Lane and Moving Traffic Contraventions (County of Carmarthenshire) Designation Order 2018 and it comes into force on 10 December 2018.
Designation of civil enforcement area2
The Welsh Ministers designate the county of Carmarthenshire as—
a
a civil enforcement area for bus lane contraventions; and
b
a civil enforcement area for moving traffic contraventions.
