A student's status as an eligible postgraduate student in connection with a designated postgraduate course is retained until the end of the student's period of eligibility unless terminated in accordance with paragraph 9, 10, 12 or 13.

A student's period of eligibility ends at the end of the academic year in which the student completes the designated postgraduate course.
