Defnyddir y term darpariaeth i ddisgrifio elfen ddiffiniadwy mewn darn o ddeddfwriaeth sy'n cael effaith ddeddfwriaethol – megis Rhan, Pennod neu adran. Mae fersiwn o ddarpariaeth yn rhagolygol naill ai:
- os nad yw'r ddarpariaeth (Rhan, Pennod neu adran) erioed wedi dod i rym neu;
- pan fo testun y ddarpariaeth wedi'i newid, ond nad oes dyddiad wedi'i bennu eto gan y person neu'r corff priodol i'r newidiadau hynny i ddod i rym.
Gall Gorchmynion Cychwyn a restrir yn y blwch 'Newidiadau i Ddeddfwriaeth' fel rhai sydd heb eu gwneud eto ddod â'r fersiwn ragolygol hon i rym.
Nodyn: Pwynt mewn amser rhagolygol yw'r wedd ddiweddaraf sydd ar gael o'r ddeddfwriaeth sy'n cynnwys yn ddiofyn yr holl ddarpar newidiadau a allai ddod i rym.

Mae newidiadau yn dal heb eu gwneud i Rheoliadau Deddf Rheoleiddio ac Arolygu Gofal Cymdeithasol (Cymru) 2016 (Diwygiadau Canlyniadol) 2018. Mae unrhyw newidiadau sydd wedi cael eu gwneud yn barod gan y tîm yn ymddangos yn y cynnwys a chyfeirir atynt gydag anodiadau.
Changes to Legislation
Nid yw newidiadau ac effeithiau sydd eto i'w gwneud gan y tîm golygyddol ond yn berthnasol wrth edrych ar y fersiwn ddiweddaraf neu fersiwn ragolygol o ddeddfwriaeth. Felly, nid oes modd eu gweld wrth edrych ar ddeddfwriaeth fel y mae ar bwynt penodol mewn amser. Er mwyn gweld yr wybodaeth 'Newidiadau i Ddeddfwriaeth' ar gyfer y ddarpariaeth hon ewch yn ôl i'r fersiwn ddiweddaraf gan ddefnyddio'r opsiynau yn y blwch 'Pa Fersiwn' uchod.

12. Yn adran 105(1)—
(a)yn lle’r diffiniad o “care home”(1) rhodder—
““care home”—
has the same meaning as in the Care Standards Act 2000 in respect of a care home in England; and
means a place in Wales at which a care home service within the meaning of Part 1 of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 is provided wholly or mainly to persons aged 18 or over;”;
(b)yn lle’r diffiniad o “children’s home”(2) rhodder—
““children’s home”—
has the same meaning as it has for the purposes of the Care Standards Act 2000 in respect of a children’s home in England (see section 1 of that Act); and
means a place in Wales at which a care home service within the meaning of Part 1 of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 is provided wholly or mainly to children;”;

Amnewidiwyd y diffiniad o “children’s home” gan adran 8(2) o Ddeddf Plant a Phobl Ifanc 2008 a pharagraff 3(1) a (3) o Atodlen 1 iddi.
Mewnosodwyd y diffiniad o “private children’s home” gan adran 116 o Ddeddf Safonau Gofal 2000 a pharagraff 14(1) a (23)(a)(vii) o Atodlen 4 iddi.
