Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn diwygio Gorchymyn Iechyd Planhigion (Coedwigaeth) 2005 (O.S. 2005/2517) i gyflwyno mesurau—
(a)i atal Thaumetopoea processionea L. (Ymdeithiwr y Derw) rhag cael ei gyflwyno i Gymru, sy’n barth gwarchod cydnabyddedig ar gyfer y pla planhigion niweidiol hwn (“yr ardal warchodedig”); a
(b)i atal y pla planhigion niweidiol hwn rhag lledaenu o fewn yr ardal warchodedig.
Mae’n diwygio’r gofynion technegol y mae rhaid eu bodloni wrth ddod â phlanhigion penodol Quercus L., a fwriedir ar gyfer eu plannu, i mewn i’r ardal warchodedig neu wrth symud y planhigion hynny o fewn yr ardal warchodedig.
Nid oes asesiad effaith wedi ei lunio ar gyfer yr offeryn hwn, gan na ragwelir y bydd yn cael unrhyw effaith, neu unrhyw effaith sylweddol, ar y sector preifat, y sector gwirfoddol na’r sector cyhoeddus.
