SCHEDULE 1 Amendments consequential upon the commencement of Part 1 of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016

Disclosure of Adoption Information (Post-commencement Adoptions) Regulations 2005

8.—(1) The Disclosure of Adoption Information (Post-commencement Adoptions) Regulations 2005(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 2 (interpretation), for the definition of “registered adoption support agency” substitute—

““registered adoption support agency” means an adoption support agency which is—

(a)

in relation to England, an adoption support agency in respect of which a person is registered under Part 2 of the Care Standards Act 2000, or

(b)

registered as a provider in Wales of an adoption service under Part 1 of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016;”.
