This regulation applies where a contact tracer—
a
has given a notification under regulation 6(1), 7(1), 8(1) or 9(1) (“the original notification”), but
b
subsequently notifies the recipient of the original notification that it is withdrawn.

The original notification is treated as if it had not been given.
