Pryd i daenu gwrtaith

12.—(1) Rhaid i feddiannydd sy’n bwriadu taenu gwrtaith nitrogen gynnal arolygiad o’r caeau yn gyntaf, er mwyn ystyried y risg y gallai nitrogen fynd i mewn i ddŵr wyneb.

(2) Ni chaiff unrhyw berson daenu gwrtaith nitrogen ar y tir hwnnw os oes risg sylweddol y byddai nitrogen yn mynd i mewn i ddŵr wyneb, gan gymryd i ystyriaeth yn benodol—

(a)goleddf y tir, yn enwedig os yw’r goleddf yn fwy na 12°,

(b)unrhyw orchudd tir,

(c)pa mor agos yw’r tir at ddŵr wyneb,

(d)yr amodau tywydd,

(e)y math o bridd, ac

(f)presenoldeb draeniau tir.

(3) Ni chaiff unrhyw berson daenu gwrtaith nitrogen os yw’r pridd yn ddyfrlawn, dan ddŵr, wedi ei orchuddio ag eira, wedi rhewi neu os oedd y pridd wedi rhewi am fwy na 12 awr yn ystod y 24 awr flaenorol.
