The Welsh Ministers make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 124 and 203(9) of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 20061.
Title, commencement and interpretation1

The title of these Regulations is the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Amendment) (No. 4) (Wales) Regulations 2022.

These Regulations come into force on 1 January 2023.

In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 19892.
Amendment of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations2
In Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations (countries or territories in respect of which the United Kingdom Government has entered into a reciprocal agreement), at the appropriate places insert—
“Bailiwick of Guernsey”; and
“Malta”.
