In the case of injury to, or destruction or decay of, a tidal work or any part thereof, the Company must as soon as practicable notify Trinity House and must lay down such buoys, exhibit such lights and take such other steps for preventing danger to navigation as Trinity House from time to time direct.

If the Company fails to comply in any respect with the provisions of this article, the Company commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum and on conviction on indictment to a fine.
