The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 12 of the Animal Welfare Act 20061, make the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 12(6) of the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the Welsh Ministers have consulted such persons, appearing to them to represent interests with which these Regulations are concerned, as the Welsh Ministers considered appropriate.
In accordance with section 61(2) of the Animal Welfare Act 2006 a draft of these Regulations was laid before Senedd Cymru and approved by a resolution of Senedd Cymru2.
