There are currently no known outstanding effects for the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966, Section 212.

(1)Without prejudice to any other provision of this Act the following provisions shall not (except in so far as any of them have effect with respect to sea-fisheries) apply to the Londonderry Area[F1 or the Newry Area], that is to say,—
sections [F214] to 16, Parts II and III [F3 (except section 45),] sections 46 to 50, 62 to 73 and 78 to 88, Part VI, and sections 110, 111, 120(5), 160, 161, 170[F4, 170A and 171] to 174,[F4 175(2),] [F5 176 to[F4 179 and 180 to] 181 and 197].
[F6(1B)In subsection (1), the reference to sea-fisheries does not include a reference to tope, sea bass, mussel or oyster fisheries.]
(2)In the application of this Act to the Londonderry Area[F1 or the Newry Area]
[F7(a)references to the Department in sections 45, 55(2), 112(6)(c), 113(3)(a), 114(1), 115(1), 116, 118(2), 119, 120(1)(a) and (6), 166(1)(b), 168(1), 175(2), 182(b), 183(1)(b), 185A, 186(2) and (3), 199(1) and (2), 200(1) and (6), 201(2), 205 and 209(d) shall be construed as references to the Foyle, Carlingford and Irish Lights Commission;
(b)references to regulations in sections 51(2), 52(2), 56, 77(6)(a)(i), 114(1)(b), 115(1)(b), 120, 200(6) and 201(2) shall be construed as references to regulations made under section 13 of the Foyle Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1952.]
[F8(2A)Where the Commission fails to exercise any of its functions under section 55(2), the Department may exercise that function in its place.]
(3)The Ministry shall consult with the Foyle[F1, Carlingford and Irish Lights] Commission before—
(a)commencing to develop or improve any waters in the Londonderry Area[F1 or the Newry Area] for angling, under section 2 or 3; or
(b)approving, under section 6, any programme relating to such waters.
