Notes:

1.

The limit of error in relation to any scale mark on a sub-divided or graduated measure shall be that specified for a measure of nominal capacity equivalent to the amount which the scale mark is intended to denote, or where the nominal capacity equivalent to the amount does not appear in this Schedule it shall be calculated by interpolation.

2.

On and after 1st October 1995—

(a)

the foregoing table shall have effect with the omission in column 1 of the references to 5, 4 or 3 gal, 2 gal, 1 gal, [F1½ gal,] 1 qt, 8 fl oz, 6 fl oz, 1 gill, 4 fl oz, ½ gill, ⅖, ⅓ gill, ¼, ⅕ gill and ⅙ gill; and

(b)

references to imperial measures shall be to their use for measuring beer and cider only.
