The Secretary of State makes the following order in exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the Trusts (Capital and Income) Act 2013(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Trusts (Capital and Income) Act 2013 (Commencement No.2) Order 2013.
2. Section 4 of the 2013 Act (total return investment by charities), so far as not already in force, comes into force on 1st January 2014.

This Order commences section 4 of the Trusts (Capital and Income) Act 2013 (which was previously commenced for the purpose only of exercising the power to make regulations), so far as that section is not already in force. Sections 5 and 6 of the Act came into force on the day it was passed, and the rest of the Act was commenced by the same Order which partially commenced section 4, so that the entire Act is now commenced.
