The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 118(5) and (6) and 122 of the Care Standards Act 2000(1).

2000 c. 14. The power is exercisable by the appropriate Minister. The “appropriate Minister” is defined in section 121(1). In relation to Wales it means “the Assembly”. Section 5(b) defines “the Assembly” as the National Assembly for Wales.
