(1)Caiff Gweinidogion Cymru beri i ymchwiliad gael ei gynnal i unrhyw fater sy’n gysylltiedig â darparu gofal a chymorth.
(2)Cyn i ymchwiliad ddechrau, caiff Gweinidogion Cymru gyfarwyddo ei fod i’w gynnal yn breifat.
(3)Os na roddir cyfarwyddyd, caiff y person sy’n cynnal yr ymchwiliad benderfynu cynnal yr ymchwiliad, neu ran ohono, yn breifat.
(4)Mae is-adrannau (2) i (5) o adran 250 o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Leol 1972 (p.70) (pwerau mewn perthynas ag ymchwiliadau lleol) yn gymwys mewn perthynas ag ymchwiliad o dan yr adran hon fel y maent yn gymwys mewn perthynas ag ymchwiliad lleol o dan yr adran honno.
